For Private Events

Private Event Guidelines



Those desiring to reserve the space for a private event must make reservations at least two weeks in advance. Approval is subject to availability. Reservations may be made in-person, by phone, or online. General information collected will be the date and time of reservation, size of party, contact person, phone, and email address.


A deposit of 50% must be paid within three days of reserving the venue. An invoice will be sent showing the amount. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days prior to the event date. A subsequent invoice will be sent showing that amount. Failure to pay without notification and approval will result in a cancellation without refund. Both venue and food costs must be paid in advance. Individual payments cannot be made the day of the event.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 3 days in advance of event date to receive a refund of all monies paid. Cancellations made after that will receive a partial refund minus the 50% deposit. No call/no shows will not be refunded.

We understand that things sometimes happen that are beyond our control. Should you need to cancel at the last minute due to emergency, please give us a call as soon as you are able and make sure you speak to an actual person. We will try our best to work with you.

Private Party Venue Rental Rates

TreeLeaf Tea Room is available to rent for private parties of 20 to 40 persons. The rates are as follows:

During Business Hours (T-F 11-3; Sat 11-5)

· Tuesday-Thursday………………………………………no cost for up to 2 hours; $75 for each additional hour with a 3-hour maximum.

· Fridays and Saturdays………………………………………………$175 for 3 hours; $75 for each additional hour.

Group Menu


Groups of 10 or more must order from the group menu even if each person is paying individually. Group menu prices include tax and gratuity. (Those reserving the venue for a private event do not have the option of paying individually. Please see Private Event policies above for details).

At time of reservation, either option 1 or 2 (detailed below) from the group menu must be chosen. Every member of the group will receive the same order and be charged the same amount. 

Option 1

Light Tea: $14 (includes tax and gratuity)

· Scone with Devonshire cream and preserves

· Four savories

· Pot of tea

Option 2

Afternoon Tea: $19 (includes tax and gratuity)

· Scone with Devonshire cream and preserves

· Four savories

· Seasonal fruit or crudite

· Three desserts

· Pot of tea

The group menu is set and no alterations may be made. Allowances can be made for certain food allergies and dietary restrictions with advance notice and within reason.


***Please note that TreeLeaf Tea Room is a dry establishment. Alcohol cannot be consumed within the tearoom.
